We recently helped celebrate Bukka's birthday.

We had cake & sang "happy birthday" together.

Meg (my sitter) threw me a party.
Her boys - Gabe & Ben are my buddies.

Gabby turned two on May 6th. She enjoyed all the festivities - especially loved having the birthday song sung to her. And pretty much right on cue the "terrible twos" arrived. She's been extremely independent and frequently irritable & moody. Her response to any and every question is "NO!"
We think Spring has finally arrived here. This week was warm & sunny, which means we've been spending lots of time outdoors.

Fun in the Arizona Sun

Arrived in Scottsdale on Saturday. Nothing on the agenda but the pool & the park. Gabby is having much fun. Jason & I weren't sure we'd make it here... Gabby was throwing up at 3am the morning of our flight. Was our first vomiting incident with her and it was quite disgusting! We said a few prayers as we went back to bed and when we woke in the morning she was her normal, perky little self. Whew!

This is what happens when she picks out her own clothes?! Daddy was brave enough to walk around the block with her dressed like this. She's a very "creative" little girl.

A few weekends ago Gabby and I took the train to Chicago to visit Jason while he was working a show. We were able to spend an evening with Ava & Quentin. The cousins had great fun playing together. Favorites included chasing each other up & down the hallway, and playing "sack of potatoes" with Matt & Jason. We snapped the pic of the three of them on the front porch while waiting for a taxi.

Holiday Weekend

I'm off to see the Easter Bunny!

Even though we had a snow storm, it was a great holiday weekend. On Saturday Gabby went to her first easter egg hunt with Grandma & Grandpa Stauber. While there she met the Easter Bunny and sat on his lap. Hopefully we'll have pics of that to post later. Grandma & Grandpa wore her out - she almost fell asleep while eating her supper! We spent a lazy Easter Sunday at my parents. Jason's parents joined us. Gabby discovered "bellybeans" and absolutely loves them.
