We just returned from a week long vacation to Salt Lake. We visited our friends - Diana, Brad, Daniel & Bosco. We had a fantastic week hanging out with them - good food, good drinks, great conversation.

Gabby got to visit one of the best parks ever where we played for hours.

Jason biked lots with Brad.

We also visited Snowbird and took the tram to the top (thanks Daniel!) - the views were amazing!

Gabby made a new friend, his name is Bosco and he's the most mellow, gentle pooch I've ever met. She's always liked bow-wows - but from about 10-feet away. Not the case with "Bos". By the end of our stay she was petting Bos, feeding him treats, playing ball with him, and of course being the curious toddler she is... gave his tail a few tugs. I think Bosco was happy to see us leave (;D

I simply relaxed with Diana, read and made time to get a fabulous 90-minute massage.

Gabby the Reading Duck

Girls' Getaway 2007

Cousins (l-r) - Kelly, Val, Kristine (my sister), Jill

Moms/Aunts (l-r) - Nancy (my mom), Susan, Sharon

I spent the weekend with my mom, sister, aunts and cousins. We get together every Fall. This years location was LaCrosse. We had gorgeous weather, great shopping, yummy food and lots of conversation. I'm so thankful to have such inspiring women in my life. And thankful that we are able to spend a weekend together every year. I returned to Gabby & Jason renewed and rested. I swear Gabby changed in the 2 days I was away! Is it possible that she's even sweeter and cuter than before?

Perfect Summer Day

Gabby's new "go go"
It was a another beautiful summer day. Gabby spent the morning with Nana & Buh-buk (grandpa) after having a sleepover with them last night. She came home to a surprise - her very own "go go" (her word for bicycles and motorcycles). She was so excited! In fact, so excited that she refused to take a nap, instead wanted to continue riding her "go go". Mid-afternoon Nana & Buh-buk took her to the county fair to see all the animals. She loved every minute of it. Hopefully Nana got a few good snapshots.
We're looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow.
