Gabby discovered the Wiggles (thanks Nana & Grandpa!) We have one tape we keep watching again and again and again. Gabby loves to dance along. And we love to sit and watch her.
Hmmm... what should I draw? "Mama sip sops" (translation: I'm drawing flip flops)
"Look at that!"
Not much of a listener today. Getting in the toybox is a NO NO.
Day three of being homebound with Gabby - she's had a cold since Sunday. All day long Mama responded to "runny nose!". We spent today snuggling, reading, drawing, playing Legos, bathing her babies, watching Sesame Street, Barney and Mr. Rogers.
I haven't had my hair cut or colored since May! Today was THE DAY. I've been looking forward to my hair appointment for weeks. I decided to be bold and go dark. I love it, but was concerned about Gabby's reaction. She didn't even notice (or care). I feel like a totally new Mama.
We were just browsing through some pics of Jason as a little boy and came across a snapshot of him at about 23 months. For comparison we snapped a pic of Gabby this morning. I think she looks so much like him.

It's been a crazy few weeks. Lots of fun times with family and friends celebrating the holidays. Gabby had much fun playing with all of her cousins. She was really into the Christmas traditions - loved helping us decorate the tree, bake cookies and of course open presents. We also had 5-8 inches of snow btwn Christmas & New Year. Gabyy is definitely her daddy's daughter - loves the outdoors and playing in the snow.

Shortly before Christmas Jason & I went to look at a house for sale. We fell in love with it and one week before Christmas made an offer on it. The offer was accepted and is contingent on us selling our current home. So. Guess how we spent our last 10 days?! Getting the house ready to put on the market. We've been busy, busy, busy. The house is now looking fantastic and shines from top to bottom. It's officially on the market and our realtor hosted an open house for other realtors today. We're waiting to hear how it went.
Gabby's happy to be back in her regular routine. Today was her first day back at daycare with Meg, Ben & Gabe. She was so excited to see them and had a fun day. Meg sent home chocolate chip oatmeal cookies today - Gabby helped bake them. I don't know how Meg manages to bake cookies with little ones under foot... she amazes me. And how lucky are we to have fresh chocolate chip cookies for dessert after supper?
